Getting Started

Follow these steps to get your reserve account up and running.

1. Create an Account

Visit the sign-up page

Go to the reserve homepage and click Get Started Free.

Sign up with your email

Enter your email address and create a password, or continue with a supported OAuth provider.

Verify your email

Check your inbox for a verification email and confirm your address.

2. Subscribe to a Plan

After signing up, you will be prompted to choose a subscription plan. Each plan unlocks different features and usage limits. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time.

Note: A paid subscription is required to create a business and access the platform features.

3. Create Your Business

Once subscribed, you can create your business profile. This is the workspace where all your bookings, services, customers, and integrations will live.

Open the business dialog

Click New Business on the businesses page.

Fill in your details

Provide a business name, a unique slug (used in your public booking URL), a description, and your time zone.

Save and proceed

Click Create. Your business workspace is now ready.

Dashboard

The dashboard gives you a real-time overview of your business performance. It aggregates key metrics across bookings, customers, and revenue.

Key Metrics

  • Total Bookings Count of all bookings within the selected period.
  • Revenue Estimated revenue from confirmed and completed bookings.
  • New Customers First-time customers added during the period.
  • Booking Trend A line chart showing daily booking volume over time.
  • Bookings by Platform Breakdown of bookings by source (web, Facebook Messenger, etc.).
  • Top Services Your most-booked services ranked by volume.
  • Next Appointments Upcoming bookings sorted by date.

Services & Categories

Services are the offerings your customers can book. Organizing them into categories helps both your team and the AI agent understand your menu.

Creating a Category

Go to Services

Navigate to Services in the sidebar.

Add a category

Click New Category, enter a name (e.g., “Hair”, “Massage”), and save.

Fill in service details

Enter the service name, description, duration (in minutes), price, and currency.

Save

The service is now bookable and visible to your AI agent.
Tip: You can also create services from an image — upload a photo of your price list and the AI will extract services automatically.

Booking Management

The bookings section is the heart of reserve. You can view, create, filter, and cancel bookings from a list view or a calendar view.

Creating a Booking Manually

Click New Booking

Press the New Booking button in the top right of the bookings page.

Select customer and services

Choose an existing customer (or add a new one), pick one or more services, and assign a team member.

Set date and time

Pick the appointment date and time, then confirm.

Booking Statuses

Pending

Awaiting confirmation.

Confirmed

Accepted and scheduled.

Completed

Service was delivered.

Cancelled

Booking was cancelled.

No Show

Customer did not show up.

Customer Management

reserve maintains a customer directory for your business. Customers can be added manually or created automatically when the AI agent processes a booking from a social channel.

Team Management

Invite your staff to collaborate on your business. Each team member gets a role that controls what they can access.

Owner

Full access. Can manage billing, delete the business, and control all settings.

Full operational access. Can manage team, services, bookings, and integrations.

Limited access. Can view and manage bookings assigned to them only.

Inviting a Team Member

Go to Settings → Team

Open the Team tab inside your business settings.

Enter their email

Type the invitee's email address and select their role.

Send the invite

They will receive an email with a link to join your business.
Warning: Pending invites expire after 7 days. Re-send the invite if your team member did not accept in time.

AI Integrations

Connect your social media channels to activate the AI booking agent. Currently supported: Facebook Messenger and Instagram Direct.

Link your Facebook Page to let the AI handle Messenger conversations and bookings automatically.

Navigate to Integrations

Open Integrations in the sidebar and select the Facebook tab.

Authorize with Facebook

Click Connect Facebook. You will be redirected to Facebook to grant permissions.

Select your Page

After authorizing, choose the Facebook Page you want to connect.

Done

The AI agent is now active on your Page. Incoming Messenger conversations will be handled automatically.

Connecting Instagram Direct

Link your Instagram Business account to automate Direct Message bookings.

Note: Your Instagram account must be a Business or Creator account and linked to a Facebook Page to use this integration.

Navigate to Integrations

Open Integrations in the sidebar and select the Instagram tab.

Authorize with Instagram

Click Connect Instagram. Grant the required permissions in the pop-up.

Select your account

Pick the Instagram Business account to link.

Conversations

All incoming conversations from connected channels appear in the Conversations view inside each integration. You can read message history, see bookings created by the AI, and take over the conversation at any time by enabling Human Takeover mode.

Settings & Availability

Fine-tune how your business operates. The settings page is divided into tabs covering general info, availability, breaks, off-days, AI behaviour, and team.

General

Update your business name, slug, description, and time zone.

Availability (Business Hours)

Define the days and hours your business is open. The AI agent and booking system will only offer slots within these hours.

Breaks

Add recurring breaks (e.g., lunch from 12:00–13:00) that block booking slots. Breaks repeat on the days you specify.

Off Days

Mark specific dates as closed — holidays, vacations, or special closures. No bookings will be accepted on off days.

AI Settings

Customize the AI agent's tone, greeting message, and instructions. Use this to align the agent with your brand voice.

Tip: The more context you give the AI in its instructions, the more accurately it will handle edge cases like rescheduling requests or special services.

Billing & Subscription

reserve uses a subscription model. You can manage your plan from the subscription page.

Plans

Each plan differs in the number of businesses, team members, bookings per month, and AI message credits. See the pricing page for a detailed comparison.

Upgrading or Downgrading

Navigate to Subscription in the top navigation, choose a new plan, and complete checkout. Changes take effect immediately.

Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time. Access to paid features continues until the end of your current billing period.

Warning: Cancelling your subscription will disable AI integrations and restrict access to business features at the end of the billing period.
